The Foundation of Success: Early Learning at SVVS

Foundational Stage

The Foundational Stage at SVVS is where young minds begin their journey of discovery. During these early years, we focus on building the essential skills children need to succeed both academically and socially. Our approach blends structured learning with creative play, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in a supportive and disciplined environment.

Key features

We introduce students to a 3-language system that includes English, Hindi, and a regional language. This helps children develop strong linguistic skills and promotes cognitive growth, cultural awareness, and effective communication.
At SVVS, we believe in teaching life skills alongside academics. Children learn important skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork, which are essential for personal and social development.

The phonics method is used to help children develop strong reading and writing skills. By learning to recognize sounds, blend letters, and decode words, students gain the confidence they need for early literacy.

We incorporate multimedia into our learning process, using interactive digital tools, videos, and educational apps to enhance engagement and make learning more dynamic.

Our student assemblies provide a platform for children to express themselves, develop public speaking skills, and showcase their talents, boosting their confidence and communication abilities.

The Junior Jubilation Olympics is a fun and active day where students engage in sports and physical activities. It encourages teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy competition in a joyful atmosphere.

The 100th Day Celebration is a special milestone where children celebrate their progress and achievements. Through fun activities, we mark the importance of this moment in their educational journey.

Fresher’s Day warmly welcomes new students to SVVS, helping them get acquainted with the school environment, make new friends, and feel part of the SVVS family from the start.

Graduation Day for our UKG students is a memorable event that marks their transition from kindergarten to the next level of education. It’s a celebration of their growth and accomplishments.

Field trips are a key part of our curriculum, providing real-world learning experiences that help children connect classroom lessons to practical situations. These outings enrich students’ understanding of subjects like science, nature, and history.

We celebrate various festivals and special days throughout the year, including cultural, national, and international events. These celebrations promote inclusivity, cultural awareness, and a sense of community.
